Tribute to Yoshiyuki Tomino
One of the major exponents of Japanese anime, Yoshiyuki Tomino (born 1941) revolutionised the representation of robots, endowing them with a pathos and dramatic impact that had never been seen before. The series Mobile Suit Gundam remains one his most notable creations, released this year on the thirtieth anniversary of the original.

Isao Takahata (born in 1935), co-founded Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazaki in 1985. One of the best animators on the contemporary scene, Ichiro Itano (born 1959) brilliantly combines traditional animation with use of modern Computer Graphics. His battle scenes in Macross, in which the trails of the projectiles and missiles draw a vortex of lines and forms in space, have passed into legend. He also created one of the most original of recent series, Gantz.

incontrato il maestro takahata (un Signore, simpaticissimo), visto wakaranai di kobayashi un pugno nello stomaco, ma molto bello ho fatto i complimenti all'attore principale (con le 3 parole in croce che so) visto chihiro di miyazaki e hols di takahata finalmente in lingua originale al cinema (i miei occhi diventavan 4 dall'emozione)
domani dovrei vedere tokage di tsukamoto e yakeato no iesu di aoyama poi c'e l'incontro pubblico con takahata e ocelot, cerchero' di rompergli ancora le scatole come da prassi

by the way takahata ha in progetto un film vertente un testo jap riguardante una leggenda locale dove un tizio taglia un bambu e trova un bimbo ambientato nel decimo secolo
francamente DUE PALLE: praticamente e' un progetto di mediometraggi dove attori LEGGONO passi di importanti opere nipponiche...non riesco ad apprezzare la cosa...
