UNa marea di animazione contemporanea e meno, da Kon a Miyazaki, davvero un'ingozzata allucinante!!!

Focus 2009: Greater China
Public screenings: Open Doors Screenings
A programme aimed at both the Festival audience and the professionals attending
Locarno, offers a range of films made in Greater China: Mainland China, Hong Kong and the
Taiwan Island in recent years. This selection includes both films by directors participating
in the Open Doors Factory, who will come and talk with the audience, and films by other
filmmakers from the region highlighted this year. This is a rare opportunity for festival-
goers to discover some characteristics of a little-known cinema.

The co-production lab: Open Doors Factory
From 9 - 11 August 2009, the co-production lab Open Doors Factory will host filmmakers
and producers from Greater China, in order to assist them to find co-production partners
and finalise their film project.
Of 114 applications received, 12 projects were selected to participate in the Open Doors
Factory 2009:
